So You Want To Be An Olympic Curler?

Are you a high school athlete who has watched curling during the Winter Olympics ? Maybe you’re thinking you could dominate and end up in the Olympics too? Well, let’s find out. CurlVegas is offering a special So You Want to be an Olympic Curler? curling event. Come alone, bring your friends, your siblings, or your teammates from other sports (and yes, even your parents)  -- anyone who is interested or just curious.

Our instructors will show you all the basics (throwing, sweeping, game strategy), discuss what the journey in competitive curling is like, and help you understand why jumping into this lifetime sport as a teenager is a great choice whether you wind up in the Olympics or not.

Try it, we bet you’ll be hooked! Those players you’re watching in the Olympics, many of them started playing while in high school, and whlie many played other sports before they curled, they all quickly discovered that curling actually challenged them both physically and mentally.  Plus they found a great community of people once they jumped in, as curlers worldwide are friendly and supportive of each other despite it being a competitive sport. 

So come try your hand and see what the excitement is all about!

No special clothes or gear are necessary, but it is recommended that you wear long pants (NO SHORTS), a jacket, gloves, and CLEAN athletic shoes (no heels or boots).
